My brother didn't believe me that the scene in Spaced was kind've like a prequel (sorta) to the Shaun of the Dead bit about dogs can/cant look up. Thanks Sean and Nick for backing me up!

^ Jordan, all you have to do is show him that scene in the last episode, of Daisy banging on the window & calling Colin. Play it with the commentary & your brother will hear Simon talking about it. ;)

Dogs can definitely look up, but if they're got their back 100% horizontal, they can only look up so far. For example, they can definitely look up at you if you're both on ground level, but I'm not so sure they can look up 2 stories. I'll have to go out on my balcony today with a video camera. XD

^ Exactly! My Mum's dog lies on the floor with her head resting on her paws, & LOOKS UP at us with sad puppy dog eyes.

About the Film

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) reunite for the comedy adventure Paul as two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America’s UFO heartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who brings them on an insane road trip that alters their universe forever.

For the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) has been hanging out at a top-secret military base.
