I love Dr Pepper! I've heard that Dr Pepper from the USA tastes totally different from that in the UK, or indeed anywhere due to the drink being made from local vegetation etc, also in some parts of America it is still made with cane sugar as opposed to Corn syrup which is commnly used nowdays. Also, due to local vegetation and ingredients and even the type of soil, with which they're grown significantly alters the taste.

I was traveling in southeast Asia last year and I got what i thought was a mosquito bite on my upper left buttock close to my waist. It was mildly itchy and that just increased each time I scratched, as bites do. I had other mosquito bites that reacted similarly but faded after a week. However after one month this small lump was still there, and it was still just as itchy. Sometimes I would scratch it until it bled. It has now been six months and the lump is still there. If I leave it alone i tend to forget about it, however if I scratch it it starts to get itchy again. I had a mole check recently, (the lesion, not the burrowing animal) and asked the doctor, but he just said "it's nothing". However he was only getting paid to do a mole check and I don't think he had any interest in diagnosing other complaints that were outside of his mole jurisdiction. It could be just a small cyst, but I was wondering if you have any advice, as after six months it is a cause for concern.

Who is credited with conceiving Paul? Not the screenplay, but the actual concept. Was it Nick? Was it Simon?

Also, how many drafts did you compose before you came to the draft that receive the greenlight? I understand the script is ALWAYS evolving, but wondered how many drafts it took.

As you were writing the script, did you picture certain actors for specific roles? If so, did you converse with said actors during the writing process to help you fit the part specifically for them?

Working with Edgar and now Mottola, how similar are their on set directing styles?

Having seen Mottola's other work and knowing he can adeptly handle dramatic beats as well as comedic beats, what was it that helped him land the gig? If so, which one of his films swayed you in his direction? Also, how much input did he have when it came to the script?

One final question.

Do you both share a mutual distain or love for the film, " Lorenzo's Oil"?

My question is can I go on the set? It is my dream to become a director and I always wanted to see a real movie set up close and personal. I always wanted to become a part of the moviemaking experience.
P.S. I would never want to direct if I didn't watch Shaun of The Dead on HBO on Demand in 2005. True story. Right after I saw the film I said to my brother I want to make a movie and we started making a movie which was Shaun of The Dead with teenagers, but that was when we were young. Thanks to that film I'm taking $10,000 dollars from my mom (I'm 16) to buy equipment and shoot my own feature film in July. So thank you for the greatest experience of my life guys, even if you don't allow me on the set.

You could be like Vader and I could be like the apprentice in The Force Unleashed. I would say Emperor/Vader, but I don't think I'm quite of to par on a filmmaking scale to compare myself to Vader. In terms of ability.

Do either of you use a screenwriters software or do you just type it out. in word?

Do you guys have a specific image of what Paul is going to look like or are you leaving that up to Mottola and the art dept.?

Have you guys visited the famous alien town of Roswell? Everyone there makes their living off of ETs. If it wasn't for the lucky fact that a saucer crashed there, they'd all be busting their chops trying to make a living. Even the bridal shops have alien brides in the window to model wedding dresses. The alien crash museum is a hoot. More importantly, red or green?

So I heard you'll be shooting scenes at Comic Con. Would it be possible to crash in the RV while you're shacked up at the Hard Rock or other fully booked hotel? I actually live in San Diego, but it's a bitch to get out of the parking structure let alone downtown San Diego. If not, can you just hang a "Twilight" banner on the RV to distract the Rob Patz fans away from the panel lines and into traffic? So many of us would appreciate the gesture.

Apologises I'll get to the point....when you were writing Paul did you use the brainstorming/flipchart/spider plan approach as illustrated in Shaun of The Dead special features, or is your working method more intuitive bearing in mind that you two get on so well? You guys have been really great to appease us rabid fans with video blogs and pictures. we love you for it, and it doesn't take many comments to see our zealous devotion and enthusiasm for everything you do. so i suppose what i want to know is, do we scare you a bit? or do you just love the attention?

WHY is Paul?

With San Diego Comic Con being a key plot device for "Paul", wouldn't you guys want to make the trek to San Diego to get some real film footage of this 40th anniversary event?... P.S. I'm 13 years old and my 2 favorite movies are "Hot Fuzz" and "Shaun of the Dead" and "Spaced" is my favorite TV show. I'm really bummed I didn't get to see you at last year's Comic Con but I would crap my drawers if i saw you at this year's since I'm going!

Alright, mine are really simple.

First: Are there any major cameos in the movie? If so, I don't want names just the knowledge that they are there. . . can't ruin the surprise!

Second: How large is Bill Hader's role in the film? I'm a big fan of his ever since his Daniel Day-Lewis impression on SNL and would like to see him get bigger film roles.

Other than that, thank you for setting up an awesome site for what will surely be a great comedy. The cast/crew couldn't be more perfect.

What kind of references will there be while the characters are at Comic-Con (any Star Trek jokes? perhaps something about how "every odd numbered star trek movie is shit"? a Scotty quote (or just the accent) would make me quite pleased... although too many references would kinda ruin the movie, wouldn't it? well, I trust you guys not to much it up)

Secondly, is Paul the walrus?

Nick, can we expect an autobiography from you, so that you will be keeping up with Simon? (I'd buy it!)
Or maybe after project Paul you both could write a book about all of your adventures, with lots of pictures and fantastic-ness... =D

and finally, can you give any word about Worlds End?!?! is it true that you battle Reptilians (thus corresponding with the mint cornetto... it's mint cornetto right?) And just to ask: is there anyway that Bruce Campbell could do a cameo? that would be amazing awesome and wonderful in every way!

(I know this is quite irrelevant but I turned away from the computer and saw that the front door is open and without realizing it I did a fantastic Peter Serafinowicz impression, it was quite alarming too because a Zombie could have just danced right in.)
